Join us for an afternoon of wine tasting, games and heaps of fun at our urban cellar door in Port Melbourne. You will get to test out your wine knowledge and best game strategy whilst learning about wine and winning prizes at the same time! Bring your mates, ask a date or come by yourself as this is an afternoon you definitely don't want to miss out on.
How to play?
Participants taste wine blind and try to guess grape variety and region of production following clues from the host. Players “bet” on their choices using the chips and the board styled as a casino table. The one left with the most chips wins. Wine Casino® is not gambling because all participants get the same number of chips, additional chips cannot be purchased, and even if participants run out of chips, they can continue tasting but cannot bid.
Whoever gets the most chips at the end - wins. If there's a draw - we'll play a Super Game ;)
The winner will get a bottle of their favourite Susuro or Octtava wine!
Who can play?
Anyone who loves wine! We take the snobbery out to bring in the fun. Thanks to the rules of the game and clues that call not only on wine knowledge but also common knowledge topics, wine lovers of all levels of knowledge can play. If you drink wine but think you ‘know nothing” about it, trust us, you know enough to play and win!
What wines and how many can we taste?
During the game you will taste (and guess) 6 wines: one sparkling wine, 2 white wines and 3 reds.
Will there be food?
Wine tasting game will be accompanied by delicious antipasti platters

Game starts: 3pm sharp
The game will last for roughly 2-2.5h and you are welcome to stay afterwards for more drinks, chats and laughs with Nikki, the winemaker
