I’m Nikki. I make wine with muscles and love in Bacchus Marsh, and I’ve been obsessed with wine since I was a kid squishing grapes between my toes in my parents’ backyard. Everything here is handmade and small batch. I always have a style in mind when I am making my wines, but I also let them express themselves and gently guide them along the way so that the resulting wine is beautiful, full of texture, nuance, flavour and delicious.
I have a particular love for Italian varietals. The textures and flavours you get from them are something you just don’t find in more conventional grapes. I also make the class varieties under Octtava, my music label, because before wine there was music and that never really left either.
I believe that wine brings people together and makes every occasion better. It’s an endless adventure. There are so many beautiful wines in the world, so many vintages, so many perfect food matches. I’m a winemaker but first and foremost I’m a passionate wine drinker, like you.

Music and wine are my deepest passions and I am makers of both. Octtava is a musical term that means to play the notes on a musical score up an octave. I believe that this is exactly what happens when you bring music, wine, food and great people together.
