Rose petals, strawberries and cream with an earthy spice undertone. Deliciously fresh with juicy cherry and raspberry bursts leading to a fine tannin finish.
Nebbiolo and Sangiovese grapes grown in the experimental and sustainable Chalmers vineyard in Merbein, Victoria.
Skin contact under cool conditions for 10 hours and then pressed in a tempestuous basket press. Cold settled overnight and racked to old French barriques. Barrel fermented for savouriness with some gentle lees stirring to build mid palate creaminess. Matured in oak casks for 5 months, blended and bottled. Unfined, minimal filtration and vegan friendly.
